Even if it does work, the problem seems to come back at a later time.ĭespite the tongue in cheek description above - the issue is, understandably, very bothersome to the users as they are losing confidence in the accuracy of their calendars and don't feel they should need to go to the portal every time just to get the accuracy they've always come to expect in the past. Sometimes I am able to resolve the issue by deleting Peter's OST file and also deleting the local Outlook profile and creating a new one, although that doesn't always work. If Peter check the calendar on the portal by going to - he is then able to see the calendar entry. When Peter checks the "Stewie4Life" calendar using his desktop version of Outlook 2016 - he does not see Brian's new calendar entry. 5 people have access to this calendar: Peter, Lois, Chris, Brian and Rupert.īrian makes an entry on the calendar for Thursday, June 1st at 12pm to let everyone know he'll be unavailable due to "scratching himself" So as an example - we have a shared calendar named "Stewie4Life". If I have them check the calendar on the O365 portal - everything looks correct. In the company I work for- they have recently migrated from EMC to O365.Įver since the migration - we have a number of using informing us the calendar view from the Outlook desktop client is not accurate.
